Description
Oakville is welcoming an exciting new condo project that sets the standard for mixed-use designs.
157 Cross Avenue Condos is a mixed-use condominium development in Oakville. This two-tower pre-construction project with residential, retail and office uses is located at 157 Cross Ave, near the intersection of Cornwall and Trafalgar Road.
The first tower will rise 26 storeys high, and the second will be 12-storeys high, for a combined total of 252 luxe residential units. The site will be located in a designated Urban Growth Centre and is expected to unlock huge potential for this area.
157 Cross Avenue Condos will be quite a big deal for the city due to its varied uses and amenities. The design will include 289 square-metres of retail space, then 579 square-metres of office space on the second level followed by a residential floor.
Then, the building will step back to dedicate a floor to residential amenity space that we presume will include a lobby and fitness facilities. It will then be followed by more levels of residential units for a total of 252 dwellings. The two towers will rise 26 storeys and 12 storeys, joined by a 4-storey podium.
The proposal includes a combination of 87 one-bedroom units and 165 two-bedroom units all of which are proposed to be less than 75 square-metres. This project features a 5-level parking garage with 228 residential parking spaces and 20 commercial parking spaces; the parking garage will be located below grade level. Vehicular access to Cross Avenue is currently provided by a mutual driveway which is shared with the neighbouring lands and commercial use to the east.
This ambitious development is a place for all home-seekers, where an abundance of residential and urban amenities collide. Investors can expect big things from this project.
