An inspiring development is coming to transform this residential pocket near downtown Toronto.

21 Broadview Avenue Condos is a new mixed-use condominium development by Streetcar Developments in Toronto. This pre-construction project will be located at 21 Broadview Ave, by Broadview Avenue and Eastern in the Riverside neighbourhood.

This project will include a mid-rise building and a block of fifteen 3-storey townhouse units, together with grade-related retail space in addition to a public parkland contribution.

21 Broadview Avenue Condos will be a vibrant community coming to the Riverside neighbourhood. The invigorating development will contain a mix of 340 units broken down into 110 one-bedroom, 195 two-bedroom and 35 three-bedroom units.

A further breakdown includes 340 residential dwelling units, comprised of 319 apartment-type units and 21 three-bedroom townhouse units. 15 of the 21 townhouses will be located in a separate block of 3-storey units located along the east side of the site, and the remaining six will be 2-storey units integrated within the base of the mid-rise building.

The townhomes would front onto an internal courtyard acting as a communal backyard for the residents. This communal courtyard offers opportunities for both passive and active recreational activities for residents of all ages. Additionally, a 466-square metre public park will be located along Eastern Avenue allowing for further amenity space for future residents.

The ground floor of the mid-rise building will also contain retail commercial space fronting along Broadview Avenue, plus indoor amenity facilities, bicycle storage and the primary residential lobby on the corner of Broadview and Eastern avenues. Additionally, a one-level parking garage will be located underground, providing a total of 102 vehicle parking spaces. Parking spaces will consist of 82 spaces dedicated to residents and 20 spaces dedicated to residential visitors and commercial uses.

The 12-storey mid-rise will wrap around the corner of Broadview and Eastern avenues providing a vibrant and lively corner that is currently lacklustre. The architectural design will introduce contrasting brick and metallic materials, colours and cantilevering elements to provide for a highly varied and textured façade that introduces several horizontal ‘layers’ as the building increases in height. This will also provide balconies and terraces where residents can go to enjoy scenic views of the city.

The design of this residential enclave will attract many buyers while breathing life into the underdeveloped site.

21 Broadview Avenue Condos is located in Toronto’s charming Riverside neighbourhood. This area is one of Toronto’s last untouched neighbourhoods still featuring Victorian Era homes. It is a transit-oriented area with excellent connections to downtown Toronto and serves as a gateway to the city’s eastern neighbourhoods.
