Description
An enclave of modern urban towers is poised to transform this underutilized North York neighbourhood.
25 Photography Drive is a new mixed-use development by Choice Properties in North York. This pre-construction project will sit at a 3-hectare property located at the southwest corner of Eglinton Avenue West and Black Creek Drive.
This ultra-modern development will see the construction of 7 new mixed-use condo towers. It will be carried out over 3 phases and will increase the livability in the area with excellent connections to forthcoming transit systems.
25 Photography Drive Condos will be a multi-phased project consisting of 7 new residential towers with heights of 49, 39, 38, 32, 28, 25, and 20 storeys. Once completed the development will contain 191,000 square metres of gross floor area with up to 2,356 luxurious residential units and 4,550 square metres of retail floor area.
The 7 towers will house a combined total of 2,356 new units broken down into 235 studios, 1,177 one-bedrooms, 706 two-bedrooms, 238 three-bedrooms.
The development will consist of three phases, labelled Block A, Block B and Block C. In total, the community will contain 1,845 parking spaces and 2,390 bicycle spaces of which the bulk would be for residents, 258 would be for visitors, and 10 for retail workers.
Block A would include a new food store and three towers with heights of 28, 39 and 49 storeys, located on an 8 to 10 storey podium. A total of 988 parking spaces will be provided in four levels of underground parking
Block B would include two towers with heights of 25 and 38 storeys, located on a 5-storey podium. A total of 472 parking spaces will be provided on the ground floor, floor 2, and two levels of underground parking.
Block C would include a privately-owned publicly accessible space (POPS) and two towers with heights of 20 and 32 storeys on a 5-storey podium. A total of 385 parking spaces will be provided on the ground floor, and two levels of underground parking
Once completed, the community will contain up to 9,424 square metres of amenity space divided into 4,710 square metres of both indoor and outdoor space. The shared outdoor amenity space is proposed to be located on the roofs of the base buildings on each of the three blocks. The proposal will include outdoor amenity spaces for its residents, as well as a Privately Owned Publicly-Accessible Space (POPS) at the south end of the site.
The proposal will also include a European-inspired “Rambla” which will connect Keelesdale Road in the north to the proposed public street in the south. Various units will also have access to private outdoor balconies and terraces. We can also expect the Blocks to provide recreational facilities within its indoor amenity spaces inclusive but not subject to fitness facilities, a pool, party room, and lounge areas for occupants to make use of.
We expect this sophisticated new development to be a dynamic, transit-oriented and family-friendly community that will greatly increase pedestrian and resident connections.
