2901 Highway 7 Condos is a new mixed-use high-rise condominium by Liberty Development Corporation in Vaughan. The pre-construction site is in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) by Highway 7 and Maplecrete Road.
This proposal consists of two sophisticated mixed-use condo buildings containing three towers of 49, 45 and 22 storeys. Upon completion, the development will bring a grand total of 1,318 new residential units with a full range of housing options.
2901 Highway 7 Condos will offer 1,318 luxury residential dwelling units in the following layouts: Building A (49-storeys) and Building B (45-storeys) will provide a total of 1,018 residential units consisting of 5 studio units, 275 one-bedroom units, 700 two-bedroom units and 38 three-bedroom units.
Building C (at 22 storeys) will provide a total of 300 residential units consisting of 26 studio units, 200 one-bedroom units, 58 two-bedroom units and 16 three-bedroom units.
This development will be divided into two phases, known as the Northern Block and Southern Block. The Northern Block will contain towers A (49 storeys) and B (45 storeys) shared by a 7-storey podium. A copious amount of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces will be located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. Additionally, the lobby will be found at-grade in the podium with a full-service concierge.
The indoor amenity in the Northern Block will include a well-equipped fitness room, a deluxe pool, tranquil yoga room and a quiet library room, among other uses that residents can benefit from. A dog wash is also proposed on the 1st floor of the podium where residents can clean up their fluffy-friends after or before a walk. A green roof is proposed above the 3rd and 7th floor adding to the exterior appearance of the buildings.
The Southern Block will be located south of the intersection street, consisting of a 22-storey residential building with at-grade retail uses found in the 7-storey podium. This building will house indoor and outdoor amenity spaces both located on the 1st and 3rd floors similar to those found in the Northern Block. An eco-friendly green roof is also proposed on the 8th floor. The ground floor of the proposed southern tower will also consist of multiple exits, a loading space, bicycle storage room, a moving room, garbage room and a spacious lobby promoting residents to congregate and socialize.
A total of 939 vehicular parking spaces will be provided on-site, with the majority of them located in the below-grade parking garages contained underneath the two buildings. A total of 28 surface vehicular spaces will be provided between the proposed buildings. The proposed development will also have bicycle parking storage rooms located on the ground floor and in the below-grade parking structure of the two buildings, providing a total of 800 bicycle parking spaces.
With clean lines, spacious terraces, and balconies, these three towers will exude an ultra-modern aesthetic made to enhance the streetscape of the VMC.
