This new condo project is a pre-construction mid-rise project by Terra Firma Homes. It is no secret that Toronto is facing a problem with affordable housing, so this development is allocating 8 of its dwellings to be sold as “Habitat Units” through Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing initiative. 3385 Dundas Street West Condos will be located in the northern end of the Runnymede neighbourhood. The building will house a total of 123 residential units – 38 one-bedroom units, 81 two-bedroom units, and 4 three-bedroom units. This development will have a three tiered parking garage, which will have 135 parking spaces.
In addition to having 135 parking spaces for cars, this development will also have 134 permanent spots for bicycles, doing its part in building a more environmentally sustainable building, and also keeping in line with the demand of new home buyers.
Interior amenities will account for a total of 1,850 square feet combined floor space that will be located on the the ground level and the roof. There will also be 3,625 square feet of outdoor floor space on the roof. The exterior floor space will likely be used as a communal rooftop terrace.
Location & Neighbourhood
Runnymede is almost uniformly a residential neighbourhood, with the exception of Bloor Street West to the south, and Dundas Street West to the north. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with a wide variety of schools nearby, making it an idyllic place to raise a family.
There’s more than just kid’s schools in this area, there are also tons of chances to learn a new skills. Martial arts, performance, dance, there’s nothing stopping you from going trying out something new.
This new condo project has an impressive 78/100 Walk Score, and a great Transit Score with 68/100. Shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and more line Dundas Street West. No matter what you’re looking for, you’ll be sure to find it on your new street. There is an excellent Transit Score because Dundas is a heavily serviced street. You’ll be able to use the streetcars or buses to get anywhere you need. If you’re a Zipcar user, there are plenty of Zipcar stations in this region as well.
