This new community will offer residential space, a hotel, offices, retail space, and public spaces across 10 state-of-the-art buildings. Not only that, but they have been designed by Safdie Architects and PWP Landscape architectural firms, whose eye-catching designs will invigorate the Metrolinx-owned railway tracks currently at the site.

This new development plan calls for 3,530 units in a wide range of floor plans and layouts. The following highlights how the units are to be divided:

• 874 studio units
• 1,257 one-bedroom units
• 1,050 two-bedroom units
• 349 three-bedroom units

Amongst the 10 audacious towers, one will find an office component adjoined to three levels of retail, a daycare and a signature galleria space. This building block will also contain open space for pedestrians.

The three levels of retail previously mentioned are to face Front Street while it backs onto a large open space area along the southern latitude of the site. As per early renderings, this block comprises 6 towers sharing one podium, while 5-storey mid-air bridges containing residences and amenities connect the trio buildings. In addition to this 6-building block, two 43-storey towers are proposed between Bathurst and Portland, while a 43-storey and 46-storey building are planned for Dapper Street.

For now, there is a proposed decking structure to be constructed over the railway corridor, which will include a single level of underground parking. 874 parking spots will be contained here. Residents can also expect to find storage lockers and other easily accessible amenities throughout each residential building; however, this project’s list of amenities is still to be determined.

With Kingsmen Group steering the project, we can anticipate classic city-appropriate amenities like a party room, pool, fitness room and landscaped rooftop terrace. Similarly, it can be expected that the developer follows suit with past projects and incorporate high-end furnishings like stainless steel appliances and high ceilings.
