50 Market Street South Condos is a mixed-use pre-construction condominium development in Brantford. Located near Brant Ave and Colborne St, just east of the Grand River, this project aims to redevelop a 12-acre shopping plaza with 2,500 units of new housing. Ample parking will be provided above ground level — 1,500 parking spots are proposed. This will be an excellent community for students, young professionals, and families.
The current plaza, which sports almost 95,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, will be expanded to 150,000 sq. ft. of commercial space.
On-site shops and restaurants include FreshCo, LCBO, The Beer Store, Dollarama, Little Caesars, Subway, Wendy’s, Popeyes, Boston Pizza, and more, which will still be kept open during development.
Location & Neighbourhood
This is an ultra convenient location in Downtown Brantford, thanks to shops, job opportunities, services, and not one but two post-secondary schools. Wilfrid Laurier University and Conestoga College both have campuses within walking distance, which makes this an ideal investment opportunity for renting out units to students.
This condo project sports a fantastic walk score of 93, which means it’s very convenient to run daily errands by foot. But it is also close to the central bus terminal, just a short 10-min walk away. Brantford is served by Brantford Transit, which offers local bus routes throughout the municipality.
