500 Duplex Avenue Condos is a new mixed-use condominium development project by Streamliner Properties Inc. in Toronto. This pre-construction project will be located on the west side of Duplex Avenue between Montgomery and Roselawn avenues, just northwest of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West.
This inspiring development will be a two-tower condo with heights of 11 and 15 storeys, joined by an existing building. The two new reinvigorating condo towers are expected to add an additional 621 new luxurious residences, bringing the total to 940 residential units.
500 Duplex Avenue Condos will consist of various floor plans and layouts in 286 one-bedroom, 269 two-bedroom and 66 three-bedroom units. Combining the retained 319 apartments on site, the total number of residential units in the project would equal 940 suites.
The new buildings would consist of a 15-storey mid-rise, referred to as Building A, and an 11-storey mid-rise called Building B.
Both structures would connect into the north and south façade of the existing apartment tower by a six-storey base building, forming a U-shaped structure. This will improve the pedestrian realm and streetscape with a modern and visually appealing unique development.
This new project will not only add an impressive number of new residences it will also include 45,416 square metres of additional residential gross floor area and a public park of 917 square metres proposed on the south side of the site.
This condominium project will offer its residents ample amenity room, both indoor and outdoor enhancing the lives of those who inhabit it. The developers have proposed a total of 3,768 square metres of amenity space, consisting of 1,884 square metres of outdoor amenity space and 1,884 square metres of indoor amenity space. In addition to communal and recreational spaces, the condo will also provide private balconies and terraces for its occupants to enjoy.
Each tower will have its own private entrance, lobby, mail and parcel room, in addition to the amenity space found throughout the ground floor.
A gorgeous courtyard is also proposed with a large linear pond as the focus that will also include a splash pool and water features. The 1,592 square metre outdoor space will be divided into multiple smaller, more intimate areas for groups to socialize and enjoy the lively outdoor ambience. These spaces will include cabana-style areas, lounge seating as well as BBQ areas.
A landscaped space and a 9,874-square-foot public park fronting onto Montgomery Avenue would be created along the development’s western side. Additionally, three levels of below-grade parking are proposed, the second level of which connects to the existing parking garage and would accommodate a total of 527 parking spaces.
