Description
A new luxury, high-rise condominium is coming soon to a historical landmark in the downtown core. This project is in the pre-construction phase and is being developed by Trinity Development Group. Investors and home-owners can expect a 17-storey, mixed-use condominium to be built on an existing historical building.
This project is located on the south-east corner of King Street and Bathurst Street in Toronto. 663 King Street West Condos is currently in the pre-construction phase and the expected occupancy date is 2024. The site is currently occupied by a 4-storey brick warehouse-style building that was constructed in the 1900’s and was originally used as the Canada Biscuit Company.
This site is protected by the City’s Heritage Conservation District. In order to retain the site’s heritage, the developers propose that the north, south and west facades remain in place while demolishing the rest of the built fabric. Future residents can expect that the building will incorporate a nice mix of old and new elements into the design. The new portion of the building will be constructed using modern glass materials while the historic red-brick exterior on the bottom floor will be integrated into the development.
Residents can expect 251 residential units starting from the fourth floor to the seventeenth floor and ranging in size between bachelors, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedrooms. The residential units from the eighth floor and up will have wrap-around balconies designated for each unit.
The retail space will be dedicated to the first, second and third floor while indoor and outdoor amenities will be located on the third and seventeenth floor. The top of the seventeenth floor will have an outdoor terrace that will provide approximately 5,400 square-feet of outdoor amenity space. Additionally, indoor amenity space will be available on the third and seventeenth floor. These amenities may include a party room, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor kitchen and more.
There will be two underground parking levels available for both long and short-term parking. Residents can also expect 275 bicycle parking spaces available on the property.
There are not many amenity details as of yet, however, we can expect to see more information about the amenities in the near future. Register below to be the first to receive up-to-date information about this project as soon as it becomes available.
