The base, which consists of the first 7 floors, is dark red brick, but as the next chunk of storeys takes form, you will see that it is dark grey metal panelling as the levels gradually move up.
The final chunk of floors are topped off with light grey panels to add dimension. The glass element will be displayed throughout the building’s design, with large windows strategically placed throughout each level and side of the development and balconies.
The Architect firm, Turner Fleischer, is working to bring unique residences to an in-demand neighbourhood and capitalize on one of Toronto’s most anticipated transit expansion sites, Fairbank Station on the Crosstown LRT.
As per the project’s plan, the building’s grand lobby will connect to 1,614 sq ft of indoor amenities and 2,411 sq ft of outdoor amenities. An additional lobby will be located off the Lyon Court frontage, while more outdoor and indoor amenities will be found on the 8th and 16th floors.
Based on our information so far, there will be 127 parking spaces for residents, visitors, and retail within the project’s underground parking levels. At the same time, a total of 473 bicycles spaces are proposed for the building.
Location & Neighbourhood
The 836 Roselawn Avenue Condos is located in an area served by three TTC bus routes and is within walking distance of Eglinton West subway station, just south of the site. Glencairn Station is similarly just a 10-minute walk away but to the north.
For drivers, this site is a short distance from Allen Road, which offers quick access to the 400 series highways.
Residents can also enjoy recreational activities at the Fairbank Memorial Community Centre and the Fairbank Memorial Park, which has two baseball diamonds, a children’s playground, and a basketball court and swimming pool.
