This new condo project is a contemporary structure that will enhance the streetscape of the neighbourhood.
East Pointe Condominiums is a new mid-rise condo development by Mutual Developments in Scarborough. This pre-construction project is located at 4569 Kingston Rd, just east of Morningside Avenue in the West Hill neighbourhood.
The proposal calls for a 11-storey building with three retail units on the ground floor. With 94 dwelling units in total, layouts are expected to consist of mixed suites from studio layouts to three-bedroom styles.
East Pointe Condominiums is scheduled to be designed by Kohn Partnership Architects Inc. and they’re planning a contemporary structure that will enhance the streetscape of the neighbourhood.
These suites come fully equipped with numerous layouts and designs that provide for a sumptuous and opulent lifestyle. The units will be available in sizes ranging from 586 square feet studio units to 1,284 square feet three-bedroom plus den units.
Plenty of square feet of indoor amenity space is to be incorporated, spanning across multiple levels.
Adjacent to the fitness center one can find two outdoor terraces, as well as well designed individual work stations and meeting rooms in The Pointe Business Hub which makes working at home convenient, comfortable and productive.
An elegantly designed party room can also be found at grade for casual or formal gatherings; featuring a European-style kitchen with an oversized island, bar seating and lounge area with fireplace and television. Not to mention, all communal areas will have Wi-Fi connectivity available.
The development will offer an underground garage which will contain a convenient pet wash station, in addition to 102 vehicle spaces and 74 bicycle spaces.
The fifth floor will also dedicate ample room to amenity space, containing a stunning terrace providing the perfect place to entertain friends and family while overlooking the treetops towards the lake. Residents can also cook and dine al fresco on the Pointe patio’s beautifully landscaped terrace with BBQ stations and patio sections.
Your home is your sanctuary. Expansive windows bathe the interior with light, European styling and decorator accents elevate ordinary days into extraordinary ones, and private balconies or terraces give you space to dream. The development will offer thoughtfully designed open concept plans that create dynamic spaces with excellent conversation and airflow.
Each suite will feature modern designer kitchens with extended European-styled cabinetry and high-end appliances and soft-close cabinet doors and drawers. Beautiful and durable quartz countertops will be included and a choice of ceramic tile backsplash.
Kitchen finishes include a single undermount stainless steel sink with quality chrome finish single lever pull-out spray faucet. As well as fully installed stainless steel appliances inclusive of a refrigerator, slide-in range, dishwasher, over-the-range microwave/fan or under-the-counter microwave. Each unit will also include Energy Star-rated front loading stacked washer and dryer finished in white.
The bathrooms will be an oasis within itself with stunning features and finishes that everyone will enjoy. Bathroom fixtures will include a vanity with quartz countertop and porcelain undermount sink, quality chrome single lever bathroom faucet with mechanical drain stop assembly, wall sconce lighting and full vanity width mirror; and all faucets and showers include increased water-efficient technology. Luxurious deep 5 ft soaker tub in white and/or walk-in shower with framed glass enclosure will also be available as per plan. A choice of porcelain tile floor and full-height wall tile surrounding the bathtub will be available in three distinct colour selection packages. Additionally, stylish bathroom accessories and ceiling lights in the shower enclosures will offer bright and modern spaces offering the highest standard of luxe living.
Location & Neighbourhood
East Pointe Condominiums is part of the “Kingston Road Avenue Study,” a policy launched by the city of Toronto a decade ago designed to achieve revitalization of properties along the stretch from the Guildwood GO Station to the Highland Creek Bridge. Some of the improvements in this policy include widening sidewalks, planting trees and shrubs and encouraging high-quality, mixed-use developments, such as this one.
The site is also a few minutes’ drive or bus ride from the University of Toronto Scarborough campus, which has also recently launched a master plan, to aid in the campus’s recent growth. The plan calls for the continued expansion of the campus to provide a world-class academic experience, accommodation of a variety of land uses and the integration of the campus with the surrounding community. Additional greenspaces and improved transit networks are some of the other improvements in the works for the neighbourhood.
