Mississauga’s Downtown strip, centered around Square One is about to get a new addition! The neighbourhood’s upcoming master plan community is setting the tone for the expansion of the increasingly cosmopolitan neighbourhood, and its next phase is coming.
Edge Towers 2 by Solmar Development Corp is slated for occupancy in 2023. The tower is the second phase of a more expansive project, involving three buildings. Residents will be able to enjoy the suite’s chic furnishings that include sleek interiors. We can expect luxurious 9 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, stainless steel kitchen appliances, frameless glass shower doors and premium plank laminate flooring.
Residents will be able to enjoy a luxurious white marble clad lobby with a glass-enclosed galleria, and seating areas complete with stunning chandeliers, The buildings’ amenities will be as lavish as its trendy exterior and suite interiors. It will include a games room, theatre room, fitness centre, guest suites, a Wi-Fi lounge, and a party room.
The latter will actually open onto a scenic rooftop terrace complete with a grilling area. Party hosters need not look further for a development ideal for throwing parties or planning events — the outdoor amenity is truly the perfect summer party option.
The encompassing community is anticipated to house community space, retail, a daycare, and over 1,200 residential units.
Location & Neighbourhood
Investors will want to take note of this development’s prime location nearby highways, transit and large-scale shopping. Young families and business professionals alike, are likely to flock to the project.
Specifically, shoppers will love being walking distance from the central Square One Shopping Centre. The second largest mall in the country, it is home to a wide variety of both high-end and fast fashion retailers. Retailers range from Indigo, to H&M, to Simons, to Urban Outfitters, to Holt Renfrew — there is truly something for everyone.
Residents will also enjoy having the Mississauga-Brampton LRT steps away from their doorstep.
