Description
A stunning new mixed-use development is coming to a sought-after neighbourhood in Barrie, minutes from Allandale Waterfront GO Station.
Jacob’s Terrace Condos is a mixed-use, multi-tower condominium development in Barrie. This pre-construction project is located at 17 Jacobs Terrace, near the intersection of Anne St South and Tiffin St. It will consist of two buildings and six towers ranging from 20 to 37-storeys.
This high-rise condominium development will be surrounded by many beautiful parks and right beside the Barrie Waterfront.
Jacob’s Terrace Condos will be located in two separate areas. Each building will feature both residential and commercial space, including retail and community areas.
At 17 Jacobs Terrace, there will be a U-shaped 2-tower building, with the western tower standing 24-storeys tall and the eastern tower rising 26-storeys. The towers will sit atop a 4-storey podium that will function as an above-grade garage and will include a 2,239-square-foot community space on the ground floor. A total of 580 parking spaces are included, with 570 for residents and visitors and 10 for the community space. The ground floor will also have an elegant lobby and a convenient workspace.
Its 565 units will consist of 3 studios, 85 one-bedrooms, 171 one-bedroom plus dens, 302 two-bedrooms, 2 two-bedroom plus dens, and 2 three-bedrooms. The space between the towers will be used as an outdoor amenity rooftop terrace, including a BBQ area with outdoor seating, an events/exercise lawn, a social games space, a dog run and pet relief area, as well as an outdoor work area with tables. Indoor amenity space will be located adjacent to this space on the fourth floor, creating a combined indoor/outdoor total of 17,039 square feet of amenity space.
At 259 Innisfil Street and 41-43 Essa Road, a 4-tower irregular-shaped building is proposed, built on top of a 6-storey base. The podium will act as an above-grade garage. There will be 1,359 parking spaces, with 1,276 spaces for residential and visitor use, along with 28 spots for retail.
Tower 1 will be 29-storeys and sit along Innisfil Street, while Tower 2, also along Innisfil Street, will stand 35-storeys tall. Tower 3 will be closer to the northern end of the development and be the tallest at 37-storeys, while Tower 4 will front Essa Road and be 20-storeys tall. In total, there will be 1,276 units, including 386 one-bedrooms, 31 one-bedroom plus dens, 844 two-bedrooms, 11 two-bedroom plus dens, and 4 three-bedrooms.
At-grade retail space will be available on the southern portions of the development. A 4,456 square foot space will front onto Essa Road and a 4,499 square foot space will be located along Innisfil Street near the intersection of Innisfil Street and Essa Road.
The space between the towers on the roof of the podium will act as an outdoor amenity space, including BBQ and outdoor seating areas, social games areas, an events/exercise lawn, a dog run and pet relief area, tables and outdoor work areas, planters with seating, and a green roof area. Indoor amenity space will be provided on the seventh floor. Residents have access to a total of 66,722 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity space.
The towers have been masterfully designed so that the balconies on each floor are turned slightly, creating the appearance of a wave in motion. Each floor will catch the light from a different angle, making the buildings shimmer. This exciting new development is an outstanding investment opportunity that emphasizes outdoor and indoor amenities and residential comfort.
