Maison Wellesley Condos is a new condominium development by Graywood Developments in Toronto. This pre-construction project is located at 506 Church St, at the heart of the Church and Wellesley area. just south of O’Grady’s pub at the southwest corner of Church and Maitland Streets within the Church-Wellesley Village.
The development seeks to build a 15-storey condominium on an existing parking lot and the two row houses that occupy the famous Crews & Tangos bar.
Maison Wellesley Condos is a fabulous mixed-use condo that will offer a three-storey podium containing residential, retail and commercial uses. There will be a 12-storey tower element rising in the background, along with two retail units facing Church Street, comprising a total of 1,072 square metres of combined retail and commercial space.
On the second and third floor podiums will be residential and commercial spaces as well, while at the back of the building will be a courtyard and u-shaped indoor amenity space. Also, the fourth floor will contain an additional amenity room and outdoor terrace.
The site proposes 173 condo units, comprising 15 studios, 72 one-bedrooms, 65 two-bedrooms, and 21 three-bedrooms suites.

The large number of bicycle spaces encourages an active lifestyle within this urban core.
Location & Neighbourhood
The location of Maison Wellesley Condos is within the Church and Wellesley area, which is also known as “The Village.” This is a neighbourhood that has community centres, parks, bars, restaurants and stores that cater to the LGBT community. But, the area also has historic roots related to Victorian houses and apartments that go back to the late 19th and early 20th century.
Over the past decade, the neighbourhood of Church and Wellesley has grown to accommodate a diverse group of people who now call this home. There are many mid-rise mixed-use condo buildings coming up in the area, which shows how popular it is for investors.
This neighbourhood is truly becoming one of Toronto’s highly desired areas where trendy shops, cafes, restaurants, patios and bars make it a lively and entertaining place to reside. The vast majority of people in this area are between 30-54 years of age and their desire for more upscale townhomes and condos is becoming more known.
