Description
This new project is a pre-construction condominium by the Conservatory Group. A thoroughly modern addition to the growing area, this project sits on 4.6 acres and involves two 19-storey towers, a pedestrian promenade and two new parks. When finished, This condo building will consist of two 19-storey towers, anchored by expansive nine and ten-storey podiums. Featuring a design that pairs vertical concrete elements with a neutral-toned brick facade, it will make a stately and contemporary presence along the major transit corridor.
542 dwelling units will be included, including 111 one-bedroom, 281 one-bedroom-with-den, 12 two-bedroom and nine two-bedroom-with-den layouts. Walkout patios leading onto the roof of the podiums are proposed for some of the units. In a unique move, a heritage building on the site will be restored and used for condominium amenity space.
A new street – to be called Rougeside Promenade – will run the length of the site, connecting with the Rouge River to the southwest. With two new parks on either end of the site as well, this new condominium bulding makes the best of its abundant natural resources.
