This new condo development will sit in the heart of Scarborough, filled with urban amenities and employment opportunities.
Sequence Condos is a new mixed-use high-rise development by LeBANC Development in Scarborough. This two towers pre-construction project is located at 1221 Markham Road near the Markham Road and Ellesmere Road intersection in the Scarborough City Centre neighbourhood.
The first phase of this development will include two towers reaching 30 and 20 storeys high. The first towers will hold 345 and 211 units and will share a 3-storey podium that will house the amenities and commercial space. The final 26-storey tower will hold 310 units.
Sequence Condos will replace the under-utilized Scarborough Buffet Restaurant and will replace a small retail plaza. Once this new complex is built, it will add more retail space to the development site than what was previously there.
Investors can expect this development to offer a sleek, modern look with glass elements throughout the entire building and pre-finished metal panels to give it an ultra-modern look.
These three high-rise towers will carry a combined total of 866 residential units. These suites will come in a variety of floor plans to accommodate anyone with any lifestyle.
These buildings will offer suites ranging from one to three bedrooms in the following collections:
- 646 one-bedroom units
- 157 two-bedroom units
- 63 three-bedroom units
Two levels of underground parking will also be provided for residents and guests. The plan is to see 723 parking spaces for residents and 86 visitor parking spaces plus 7 spaces for retail. 641 bicycle parking spaces are also included in the plan. 565 long-term spaces and 69 short-term spaces for the residential component. There will be 2 long-term bicycle parking spots for the commercial component and 5 for short-term parking. The garage levels are where residents will find their storage lockers.
The towers will be connected by a 3-storey, shared podium that will hold the amenity space and commercial space. The ground floor will be dedicated to street-fronting retail space with large, floor to ceiling windows and signage on the front. These mixed-use buildings will give residents more convenience within their building and will add to the urban amenities in the area.

Location & Neighbourhood
Sequence Condos will be surrounded by many urban amenities, some of which include restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, retail shops and entertainment options. This area is also near many schools making this development a great option for families to reside. Some of these schools include Woburn Collegiate Institute, Lester B Pearson Collegiate Institute, Pope John Paul II Secondary School and Henry Hudson Public School.
Additionally, there are many post secondary schools nearby including Centennial College – Progress Campus and the University of Toronto – Scarborough Campus both just 5 minutes away. For nature lovers, Morningside Park is just 10 minutes away. A 600-acre park that is filled with recreational trails and lush greenery.
