Description
A stellar new development has been put in orbit for this master-planned community. The Orbit Condos is a new high-rise condominium development by Cortel Group in Innisfil.
This new community will sit at 1475 6th Line by 20th Sideroad & 6th Line south of Alcona. The luxe condominiums in this phase will be the tallest in the community, and as more phases are developed they will gradually decrease in height.
The arrangement of the homes will take on a ultra-modern nontraditional “squircle” design that gives the community a futuristic, intrinsically alluring aesthetic brought forward by the Partisan Architects.
The Orbit Condos is a transit-oriented development . We can expect this phase to offer exceptional sustainable units with cutting-edge technology and energy saving amenities. As well as modern and contemporary units, with open-spaces and spacious high-quality rooms.
This phase is contingent on the finalization of the Innisfil GO station which is slated for completion in 2022. This means we can expect this second phase to be completed as early as 2025. Once completed the entire community will include a full range of world-class public and private amenities surrounded by walkable and bikeable spaces; for pedestrians and its occupants.
The community will feature farmers’ markets, pop-up shops, an Innisfil ideaLAB, hacklabs, and libraries providing the ultimate smart city. All in all this community will be an all-encompassing dynamic community with mixed uses inclusive of residential, commercial, office, institutional and educational.
With the Innisfil GO station at its core, this development will offer residents with an unparalleled living experience never before seen in the region. It will also help attract more residents, provide more jobs, and boost the economy all while providing an eco-friendly, lasting community for the future
Location & Neighbourhood
The Orbit Condos will be located in Lake Simcoe County’s town of Innisfil – a rural region ready to become a burgeoning metropolis. Due to its location between Barrie and York Region, the neighbourhood is expecting intense growth within the coming years. Most of this growth will be due in part to this master-planned community coming to intensify and diversify the area.
Currently, Innisfil is a lush rural town sprawling with green spaces, parks and beaches as it is located along the shores of Lake Simcoe and Cook’s Bay. This provides its residents with year-round outdoor activities and beautiful scenic views of the waterfront. It also provides its inhabitants with endless outdoor amenities that will allow residents to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
The parcel of land where this project is proposed is an underutilized area consisting of 40 million square-feet of farmland. These rolling plains will be transformed into a connective urban community in a rural environment. This will provide its residents with urban opportunities in a small town environment.
Just 5 minutes from the site, at the Innisfil Beach Road and 20th Side Road intersection, you can find a plethora of shopping essentials and services. Here you can find a plaza anchored by a Canadian Tire, LCBO, Subway and Dollarama. In close proximity you can find No Frills, several fast food joints, places of worship and more parks and recreation. The area also presents a great place to raise children with a number of excellent schools found within close proximity.
