This new Leslieville condominium is a six-storey building with just 76 dwelling units and 8,200 square-feet of retail space at grade split into two distinct spaces.
The Poet Condos is a six-story boutique condominium development by Fieldgate Urban in Toronto’s Leslieville neighbourhood.
This new pre-construction project is located at the south side of Queen, just east of Leslie Street. The Poet condo project is slated for a 2023 occupancy date.
In addition to the retail space, the building’s first floor will contain a residential lobby and five-townhomes each spanning two storeys, accessible from private entrances off Memory Lane, which borders the southern portion of the site.

The Townhome and Penthouse collection will offer:
- 2 bedroom suites ranging 1,064 to 1,086 square feet.
- 2 bedroom plus den units offer living spaces ranging from 1,270 to 1,76 square feet.
- Lastly, 3 bedroom units will range from 1,177 to 1,473 square feet.
The Poet condo amenities are a rich list of facilities and spaces to make everyday living the most enjoyable possible. Residents and their guests are welcomed by an exclusive concierge service in in the lobby. The building’s Fitness centre features cardio and weight equipment as well as a yoga area.
Bicycle racks and bike repair are available too. Not to mention, this builder has also considered your furry friend who will have a Pet wash station. TACT Architecture will be designing this boutique condominium, and they’re drafting plans for a structure with pre-cast concrete and wood tones, a simple yet modern addition that will complement the streetscape beautifully.
The top two levels of the buildings will be stepped back, allowing the upper-level units to feature spacious terraces while a single level of underground parking will house 41 vehicle spaces and 65 bicycle spaces.
Location & Neighbourhood
Leslieville condominiums are less common in comparison to some of the neighbourhoods closer to downtown where we see rapid growth and dense corridors of high-rise towers, but this east-end pocket has still seen an increase in modern boutique buildings, townhomes and trendy lofts.
It’s an eclectic neighbourhood that’s been defined as a “strategic growth area,” in the province’s growth plan and is primed for mixed-use intensification that takes advantage of the neighbourhood’s access to streetcar routes, restaurants and services.
It has a warm, neighbourly feel and has become increasingly popular with young families, as well as with students, artists and young professionals.
This neighbourhood has an almost perfect Walk Score of 85/100 and an excellent Transit Score of 73/100. The Queen streetcar runs 24/7, taking you as far east as the idyllic Woodbine Beach and as far west as Etobicoke.
